PRACTICAL

Build a Traxxas RC Car, learn how to race it, jump it, flip it, and when it breaks, how to fix it.

We all have things lying around our house that we’ve broken and need to fix like bike tires, skateboards, toys, and appliances. But, often we don’t know how or have the tools to do so. So, grab that thing and bring it to class, so we can work on it with you.

We will have a trained medical professional train you in basic CPR and First Aid so that you can help people and yourself when you need to.

Learn about how food fuels our bodies and how you can cook a meal at home with basic inexpensive ingredients.
EDUCATION

High School can be so much fun and a great time of life. We will talk about the best ways to make sure your High School Experience is a good one.

The ACT is an important part of the college application process, and the test can feel hard and daunting. We will work on strategies to help you achieve your best on the ACT test.

It takes a lot to be a great leader. We’ll talk about the things you need to think about and do in order to be a great leader.

There are so many great books out there, and it is so fun to talk about them with other people who have read them. We will all read a book and get together to discuss it.
FINACIAl

Learn how to budget and invest your money, how to get good deals on the things you really want, how to save, and even how to account for it all.

Credit is something that is used for so many things in your financial life, and using a credit card has become the most common way to pay for things. It’s important to understand how it all works so you don’t waste your hard earned cash. This class will teach you all of that.

Starting a business can be really fun and exciting. We will have people with experience in starting a successful business help you start the business you want to.

We will help teens understand what it costs to be an adult and what expenses they need to be aware of so they can budget well as they become independent adults.
TECHNOLOGY

We have multiple 3D printing machines and software to use to make many different 3D items. There are so many options of things you can make with 3D printers from toys to useful tools. It's a lot of fun.

A simple deck of cards, poker chips, and board games can provide so much fun. We’ll also introduce you to many fun games as well.

Play video games with friends. We will have Xbox’s set up with Game Pass so you can play all the video games you want!

Learn how to build and market websites.
COMMUNICATION

Just come check the place out and see all the fun there is to be had at Life Shop. Take a tour of the facility and meet all of the staff and some of the other fun kids that attend Life Shop. This is a great time to talk to us and ask us any questions you might have about how it all works here and just hang out and play.

We want teens to help us create and run the LifeShop podcast. We have a teacher with radio and podcast training to help kids do everything they need to in order to create and run a successful podcast.

Come join us every Friday night for a free tournament. Holden, Bingo, Ping Pong, it’s gonna be awesome!
